El Dorado First Assembly story

Our Story

El Dorado First Assembly has a rich history of over a hundred years. The church was founded in 1921 as the Full Gospel Mission of El Dorado, and affiliated with the Assemblies of God fellowship in 1924 and changed the name to First Assembly of God. From these humble beginnings the church has had a continuous ministry in the city of El Dorado, Arkansas. In 1992, the church moved to its current location, now a multi-building campus to worship and equip believers to go out and fulfill the great commission. We are grateful for the past, but we know the best is yet to come!

When church ends, it's time for lunch. Today, there's no need to leave the church campus. Come to The Mix in Building #2  and buy a delicious plate of chicken spaghetti. All proceeds will go toward students raising funds for future youth events. Again, this will be in The Mix, located  in Building 2, this Sunday, March 30th, immediately following Sunday Morning Worship. Come on back and enjoy some good food and support our students.

Your student(s) are invited to join EFA youth April 4-6 for a trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO, for Young Christians' Weekend. This weekend will energize your youth with popular artists performing all weekend long, access to breakout sessions catered to the next generation, time for fellowship and hanging out with other youth groups, and record-breaking rides and attractions.
